FREE Hat Shaped Card Template

Good Morning Papercrafters.
I want to let you know about an opportunity to win a Layers of Color stamp set!  This week Layers of Color is sponsoring the "CASE Study" Challenge BlogPlaydate Cafe is partnering up with CASE Study for this challenge as well!  So the Design Team has decided to play along, creating samples using the stamp set you could win.
The prize is "Granny's Jewelry" art stamp set.

As soon as I saw this stamp set I thought of the brooches I used to see my grandmother wear and thought it would be fun to showcase my brooch on a hat!  I think some black lace peeking from below the brim would have been just perfect, but I didn't have any.

Do you like my hat card??  I designed it myself and would like to share the pattern with my friends.
You can download my Vintage Hat Template HERE.  You can also find it on my side bar under "My free Word Art Docs and Templates", at the bottom.  All I ask is that you link back to me when posting it.
These are Adobe Reader files, so you have to have Adobe Reader to open them. You can download a free version HERE.    Make sure you uncheck the box on the right side before downloading if you don't want "Secruity Scan Plus" included with it.  If you still have issues, email me and I will send it to you.

And here is the inspiration behind my project, created by
their Feb Muse - Eva Dobilas.

Thanks so very much for stopping by!
hugs,
Melisa

On a personal note :

Closing is tomorrow!
Let the painting begin!  I'm kinda glad my son's not working right now, because we are definitely going to make him earn his keep!  : )   One of the things I am most looking forward to is ... a doggy door!!  It will be so nice for the dogs to be able to come in and out at their leisure.  Still hoping there are no neighbor dogs for Sophia to start a war with.  Here's my little trouble maker.

Ferocious little thing!  teehee!  ALL 7lb of her!  And yes her hair is messy like this most of the time.  I should take the time to brush her more, but she HATES it.  And you can give her a bath, have her all prettied up, and then she'll head out to the back yard and start rolling around.  I need to take more pictures.  Her hair is much longer right now.  I have to "fix" her barrett a couple of times a day.  She's a stinker!  But don't you wanna just kiss that cute little face!
